Disney World launches new mobile check-in at resorts

ORLANDO — Walt Disney World has gone mobile, launching its new mobile check-in feature earlier this week.

According to The Disney Blog, the My Disney Experience app now allows guests to check-in ahead of time and head straight to their rooms. With only a few clicks, guests can check in to any Walt Disney World resort up to 60 days prior to arrival, completing the process by unlocking their room with their MagicBands.

For those who already have MagicBands, the check-in process can be completed without the need to visit the front desk.

Disney introduced the My Disney Experience app and MagicBand bracelets in 2013. The app also allows guests to order food in advance at participating restaurants.
