Increased Service
Public transit services will operate longer hours and run more frequently during the Games:
Rapid Transit: expanded hours and services for SkyTrain and West Coast Express.
Buses: extended day and night bus service. All competition events are well connected with multiple transit options.
SeaBus: a third SeaBus is being added with more scheduled trips.
Olympic Line – Vancouver 2010 Streetcar: free streetcar service from Olympic Village station to Granville Island.

Other Travel Options
Consider other options for improving your commute:
Cycle or walk as healthy commuting options. See the Bike Route Network and Pedestrian Corridors for more information.
Note for Cyclists Due to expected heavy volume on transit during the Games, bikes will not be allowed on SkyTrain/Canada Line from February 8 through March 3. Bike lockers are available at most TransLink stations, and bike parking is available at Metro Vancouver Olympic venues.
Ride-Share/Carpool or park and ride to cut costs, but remember, Games venues have no parking.
Telework so you can work from home and avoid travel delays.
