[ad_1]

United’s commitment to Mexico has gotten even stronger.

With recently added seasonal flights to Cozumel and Mazatlan, travelers have even more opportunities to travel south of the border.

Rolf Meyer, general director of United Airlines in Mexico expressed this sentiment when discussing the flights in Reportur:

“We are pleased to continue promoting Mexico’s tourism industry by offering more destinations from the United States,” said Meyer. “We are convinced that United’s extensive range of services are measures that stimulate commercial relations, tourism and cultural visits for both countries.”

Flights from Denver to Cozumel will be available through April 7. United also operates flights to Puerto Vallarta, San Jose del Cabo and Mexico City from Denver.

Service from Houston to Mazatlan will run through April 13 with flights offered every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday on Embraer 175 aircraft. The flights have 12 seats in first class, 16 seats in Economy Plus and 48 in Economy.

Saturday-only service is available on United from Chicago to Mazatlan through April 7.

Seasonal flights to Mazatlan are sure to boost the city’s ongoing renaissance. The seaside colonial city enjoyed a surge in visitors last year with international tourism up more than 8 percent.

Family-friendly Cozumel should also enjoy the boost in airlift from United. The popular destination holds many in its sway, offering up unspoiled beaches and serene luxury resorts.
