Prime Minister Justin Trudeau marked his 100th day in office by announcing plans to increase funding for the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
The Canada Summer Jobs Program is an excellent source of funding for employers looking to fund co-op positions, and we are happy to inform you that the application deadline for funding has been extended until March 11.
Under the Canada Summer Jobs Program, the Canadian government subsidizes Summer wages paid to full-time students between the ages of 15 and 30. Canada Summer Jobs provides funding for not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers, and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create high-quality summer job opportunities for students.
