With a 4 1/2 star rating, TripAdvisor has listed Kelowna’s Raudz Regional Table the fifth-best fine-dining restaurant in Canada.
Located on Water Street, Raudz has been reviewed by TripAdvisor contributors as: “Perfect as always and worth the wait.”
More than 680 contributors to the site have reviewed Raudz, with 483 of them giving the restaurant an excellent visitor rating.
The local eatery scored 4 1/2 stars on every rating, from food to service.
Chef and co-owner Chef Rod Butters worked in kitchens from Toronto to Vancouver before starting Raudz, and is a member of the Canadian Culinary Foundation. He also earned the WCC designation recognizing international culinary excellence from the World Association of Chefs Societies.
Raudz executive chef Brock Bowes recently won on the Food Network culinary competition Chopped Canada.
And Raudz won judges’ choice for its cocktail and food paring at the Okanagan Spirits Winetender’s Mixoff.
Raudz is known for its farm-to-table experience and locally focused menu. “Consistently good quality food,” said one reviewer.
The TripAdvisor awards are based on millions of reviews the site receives from travellers worldwide, using an algorithm that takes into account the quantity and quality of feedback gathered over a 12-month period. This year’s awards honour 356 restaurants, including the top 25 in the world as well as dedicated lists for Asia, Canada, Europe, India, South America, South Pacific, the U.K., and the U.S.
