Are you an expert at the art of visiting Disney with children in tow? Do you have visiting the park, maximizing your time, budget and overall fun factor, down to a science?
If the answer to these questions is yes, the Disney Parks Moms Panel is searching for you.
For those who haven’t heard of the panel, here are the details.
Founded in 2008, the panel has grown to be one of the most popular and trusted Disney vacation planning tools.
Providing firsthand insights into a long list of all-important Disney vacation topics – such things as how to make the most of time at the park with preschoolers, how to accommodate families with special needs, how to track down your favorite Disney characters, what to bring, what not to bring and more, the group was developed to help families have the best Disney vacation ever.
Disney Parks Moms Panelists help plan magical vacations for travelers headed to Walt Disney World Resort and also answer questions about Disneyland® Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Disney Vacation Club.
So now for the most important news. The panel is seeking to expand its ranks.
For the eleventh time since its creation, the panel will be accepting applications for membership, according to the Disney website. The application period begins September 6 and runs through September 13. Applications can be filled out on Disney’s official entry page.
One important note – don’t let the word “mom” in the title fool you. Moms, dads, grandparents and other “in the know” family members are all eligible to apply, according to the Disney application page.
Disney Parks Moms Panelists must be comfortable communicating in written form to help visitors around the globe. They must also be sticklers when it comes to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Additional requirements for panelist include:
—Having visited either Walt Disney World® Resort or Disneyland® Resort at least once in the last 12 months.
—Being able to complete at least approximately 10-20 written responses per week.
Panelists must also be available to travel to Walt Disney World® Resort between Nov. 29 and Dec. 3 for training.
Those chosen to be panelists will receive a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort vacation for themselves and up to three family members.
Think of this as the American Idol competition for Disney moms, (dads, grandparents, extended family members) everywhere.
Well, maybe not quite as grueling as American Idol.
