KAMLOOPS, B.C., Thursday, September 10, 2015. There is much cause for celebration at Tobiano this Fall.
Tobiano Golf Course
The Fall Celebration at Tobiano, BC. Golf rounds at Tobiano Golf Course are up an incredible 71% over 2014. Memberships are up 157%. And recent rankings by two esteemed golfing publications continue to put Tobiano as the #1 Public Golf Course in BC.
#25 in the 2015-16:Best Courses in Canada, Golf Digest 2015
#8 in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Canada, Canadian Golf Magazine 2015
True, the golf industry in British Columbia is enjoying a better year overall, but even within that, the growth Tobiano has experienced can be considered an anomaly. 2015 may indeed be the watershed season for Tobiano. General Manager Terry Smith accredits the growth to “a very solid foundation of exceptional golf course design; unwavering commitment to superior golf course maintenance; positive new golf course owners; exceptional service from a very dedicated staff; and a reigniting of the consumer confidence long held in Tobiano.”
Yes, Tobiano has much to celebrate this Fall. And with September arguably the best time of year to play golf in BC – the summer heat haze dissipates, brilliant blue skies return, and brown spots recover to vibrant green with summer end’s more gentler warmth – the timing could not be better for their just-released 2016 membership program.
