Chefs in British Columbia are prepping their best dishes to prepare for the Gold Medal Plates competition.
The competition is taking place in Victoria on November 19th where chefs will compete for the British Columbia spot in the Canadian Culinary Championships, that happens in Kelowna in February, 2016.
The executive Chef of RauDZ Regional Table, Chef Brock Bowes, will be competing in the Victoria competition. Chef Bowes is staying tight lipped of what judges can expect from his dishes and wine pairing for the event. Bowes is also the Executive Chef at Micro Bar.
Another chef in Kelowna will also be travelling to Victoria for the competition. Luca Paola, a chef from Summerhill Pyramid Winery, is going up against the other nine chefs.
One winner will be named who will then represent British Columbia on February 5th at the Delta Grand Okanagan Hotel for the first competition in the championships.
