Saint Lucia’s popularity among travelers is surging thanks to the diversity of experiences that await visitors to this Caribbean gem.
Valentine’s Day is as good a reason as any to book your trip. After all, Saint Lucia has been recognized as one of the world’s premier wedding and honeymoon destinations.
“Saint Lucia is a destination that inspires and there is so much to do. We have hotels that are dedicated to romance,” Saint Lucia Tourism Authority Director of Marketing, USA, Kelly Fontenelle-Clarke told NBC Miami.
There’s a lot more for travelers to get excited about beyond the month of February though as the island has big plans throughout 2019, including a handful of pulse-pounding festivals.
“We have five festivals. Our first festival is Saint Lucia Jazz in May and for the very first time, we have actually partnered with Jazz at Lincoln Center. We have a fabulous event planned from May 5-12,” added Fontenelle-Clarke.
“We have two flights out of Miami nonstop to Saint Lucia so you have no reasons not to go. We have artists like Gregory Porter, Dianne Reeves and Ledisi so it’s a fantastic lineup.”
Guests will also find a wide variety of accommodations, from boutique hotels and all-inclusive resorts to villas, guest houses and apartments.
Right now, travelers can also take advantage of special travel deals to Saint Lucia in celebration of the island country’s 40th anniversary of independence.
