The tallest observation wheel in the world will be completed ahead of Expo 2020 officials in Dubai have confirmed.
Guests on the Ain Dubai will be able to take in panoramic views over the Palm Jumeirah and the winder United Arab Emirates form a height of 250 metres.
The attraction is currently under construction.
The eighth and final 450-tonne temporary spoke was removed from the structure and the last of the permanent spoke cables installed earlier.
“This marks the first time the modern observation structure has been one complete wheel since construction began,” developers Meraas said in a statement
Each of the permanent spokes is longer than a full-scale football pitch.

The opening was initially scheduled for earlier this year, with officials now linking the debut to the opening of Expo 2020.
