MISSISSAUGA — Collette has once again gained access to tickets to the highly anticipated Oberammergau Passion Play.
Taking place in the tiny Bavarian hamlet of Oberammergau in 2020, Passion Play occurs once every 10 years and depicts the life and death of Jesus Christ. The play will run five days a week from May 16 to Oct. 4 with just 102 performances, which means there’s plenty of competition for tickets.
In 2010, Collette brought over 10,000 guests to the Passion Play, the most of any tour operator. In 2020, Collette travellers will have at least seven programs to choose from, ranging from nine to 13 days in length, said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, Executive Vice President of Product and Tour Management. “Each program includes a one- or two-night Passion Play premium category package with reserved accommodations as well as seating.”
