Amadeus has announced that Liz Emmott has been appointed as general manager for the United Kingdom.
The appointment takes effect from April and will be based at Amadeus’ office located at Gatwick Airport.
In her role as general manager for Amadeus in the UK, Emmott will be responsible for overseeing business strategies, championing the needs of the market and continuing the company’s initiatives to drive growth for its customers.
Champa Magesh, vice president, retail travel channels, Amadeus Asia Pacific, commented: “As I embark on my new role based in Singapore, I am delighted to be entrusting the UK business into the capable hands of Liz Emmott.
“Although it’s tough to say goodbye to such a dynamic market, I’m confident that Liz’s appointment will ensure the company gears up for even greater success in 2018.”
