TORONTO — National Car Rental has extended the earning period for its annual ‘Rent Rent Reward’ promotion, through Feb. 28, 2017.
Rent Rent Reward offers registered Emerald Club members one free rental day for every two qualifying rentals (base rate with time and mileage only).
Some 300 points are awarded for every qualifying car rental completed during the promotion, with eligibility for a free rental once the member reaches 600 points. Free days can be redeemed now through June 15, 2017.
National is also offering customers a bonus opportunity to earn additional promotional points: through Dec. 16, 2016, Emerald Club members can earn 100 extra bonus points by clicking the bonus badge within their Rent Rent Reward dashboard.
“We are always looking for new ways to continue to develop and provide greater benefits to our Canadian Emerald Club members,” said Rob Connors, Vice President of Brand Marketing for National Car Rental.

Clients who wish to take part in this promotion can register by joining National’s Emerald Club at emeraldclub.ca/rent. There is no cost to join and members will receive additional benefits, including: expedited service at airports and free upgrades in National’s ‘Emerald Aisle’, an exclusive section of the lot where members can select any vehicle as long as they reserve a mid-sized or larger car. In addition Emerald Club members can choose to receive EmeraldAlerts, emailed communications that include Arrival and Return Alerts, and Drop & Go service with eReceipts.
Current Emerald Club members can register for the promotion at emeraldclub.ca/rent. Free days earned for qualifying rentals through Rent Rent Reward are awarded in addition to a member’s chosen rewards earnings (frequent traveller miles/points or rental credits).
Emerald Club members can track and redeem the free rental days they earn through Rent Rent Reward between now and June 15, 2017, by visiting emeraldclub.ca/rent. Up to three free days can be redeemed per rental at any time, including weekends. In keeping with the speed and convenience of the Emerald Club rental experience, National promptly notifies participants about their free rental days via email.
