A new series of training videos for UK travel consultants has been introduced by Tourism New Zealand.
There are five videos in total with each video addressing a key selling theme and answering many questions asked by agents.
Themes include overcoming barriers to travel, landscapes and wildlife, self-drive holidays, flying domestically in New Zealand and the seasons and time of year to travel.
Between three and five minutes long, these bite-sized videos are perfect for time-pressed agents who want to pick up the basics of selling New Zealand.
Marc Mulcahy, trade development consultant, UK & Ireland, for Tourism New Zealand commented: “We hope that each three-minute video will help travel consultants become more confident about creating holidays to New Zealand.
“We want to give them the best possible toolkit to help them sell NZ like an expert.”
He added: “This comes a year after the relaunch of the 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Programme.
“In that time we have seen a 92 per cent increase in registrations for the programme and we now have over 650 certified New Zealand specialists across the UK.
“These new videos help strengthen our assets package along with showing our ongoing commitment to the trade.”
