Travel Alberta will expand the team responsible for Business Development activity in the United States. More specifically, the team responsible for Travel Trade and Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events (MICE) relations in the US market.
Effective immediately, Bart Donnelly, Director, Business Development, Europe and USA, will lead the USA Travel Trade business. Kyla Knudson, Business Development Director, USA MICE, will lead the USA MICE business.
Travel Alberta is recruiting two new contractors to strengthen the sales force in the USA and allow for greater focus on the west coast and east coast USA. The new contracts are expected to start mid-October, and will complement the work of Katie Bender, Travel Alberta’s Business Development Director, Mid-West USA, based in Chicago, and Desire Gibson, Business Development Director, Travel Trade, based in Seattle.
