In addition to massages, men are seeking other wellness activities such as manicures, pedicures, facials, Botox, and dermal fillers. The trend is fuelled by the aging baby boomers who want their outward appearance to reflect their energy and vitality.
Many men and women are undergoing facial aesthetic procedures for a youthful appearance. The demand for facial aesthetics is increasing particularly in the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, China, India, France, Italy and South Africa.
Currently the Americas account for more than 43% of the overall market share to dominate the global wellness tourism market.
