Yas Experiences, the trade arm of the leisure and entertainment destination Yas Island Abu Dhabi, today announced it has strategically rebranded to Experience Hub.
The new identity reflects the role Yas Island’s promotional hub will play to facilitate overall tourism packages in Abu Dhabi, as the demand for leisure and entertainment packages in the UAE’s capital continues to grow.
Experience Hub will continue to operate as the one-stop destination partner promoting Yas Island Abu Dhabi – one of the world’s fastest growing leisure and entertainment destinations.
The company will expand its effort to include stays and experiences in Abu Dhabi with Yas Island’s main attractions, as it continues to cultivate collaborations with stakeholders and travel partners in the UAE and key markets.
Commenting on the rebranding, Marina Cipriano, general manager of Experience Hub said: “We have witnessed continuous growth in the popularity of Yas Island packages.
“Over the past eight months since we’ve launched our operations, our team in Abu Dhabi and across markets has been very active conducting promotional activities at more than 30 trade and road shows in addition to hundreds of meetings with partners, and we’ve taken note of the high interest in packaging Yas Island experiences with wider Abu Dhabi tourism packages.
“This undoubtedly necessitated the broadening of our scope to shine the spotlight on more of what visitors to Abu Dhabi can experience and enjoy.”
In 2017 alone, Yas Island received 27 million visits to its various world-class attractions and events, including its award-winning theme parks Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld.
The newly opened Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi promises yet another one-of-a-kind family entertainment experience for travellers from far and wide.
Recent figures released by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi for the emirate’s hospitality sector indicated a record-breaking first half of the year, seeing Abu Dhabi increasing the total number of hotel guests to the emirate by five per cent on the year, with 2,413,230 guests in total arriving.
The figures also showed a marked increase in the number of hotel guests staying in Abu Dhabi during June 2018, with a rise of six per cent in comparison with same month of the previous year.
The strong uplift in hotel stays will have a positive impact on Experience Hub as it works hand-in-hand with travel partners to provide the best entertainment value for guests booking hotel stays in Abu Dhabi and across the Emirates.
