Corsica’s beauty has not gone unnoticed by the jet-set scene but new flights this spring from London Stansted to Ajaccio, Bastia and Figari are set expose the far corners of the stunning Mediterranean island.
The island is only 180 kilometres long and 80 kilometres wide but its diverse landscape is mesmerising.
From snow-capped mountains, thick chestnuts forests, and authentic Corsican villages, all surrounded by a coastline sugary white beaches and turquoise waters that rival anything on Caribbean shores. Corsica remains unbelievably natural and wild.
It will be the first time Air Corsica has operated scheduled flights in the UK.
The airline will be operating nine flights every week out of London Stansted to three airports in Corsica from May 3rd.
The new flights will open up the enchanting destination allowing short stays for up to three night or long stay of a week, ten days or more.
Hervé Pierret, Air Corsica managing director: “We expect that these new routes will not take long to become a firm favourite as an easily accessible and affordable destination, we believe there is real demand for these flights from London Stansted to Corsica.
“It will no doubt provide more than a match for the long-established Mediterranean resorts.”
