TORONTO — Contiki is full of pride these days after adding Greek Pride events in Athens and Mykonos to its summer 2017 lineup.
Catering specifically to millennials, the original ‘Greek Week’ product runs over nine days and travels around Athens, Ios and Mykonos. New Pride departures offer the same itinerary, plus some added Pride-included extras.
“Diversity and inclusivity have always been core to Contiki’s values,” says Sheralyn Berry, Vice President of Sales, Contiki Holidays Canada. “Doing things with passion means living your best life, understanding your true self, championing what makes us different and opening yourself up to experiences. Travel is an experience for everyone, so LGBTQ+ or straight we’re excited to bring our travellers to these events to celebrate these values.”
Featured itineraries include ‘Greek Week, Athens Pride’, departing June 9 and running for 10 days. This trip, priced from $1,999, features an extra day in Athens, a welcome evening in the gay hub of Gazi, and the Pride festival.
Also available is the nine-day ‘Greek Week, Mykonos Pride’, which departs on Aug. 24. This Pride departure spends time in Mykonos during its iconic festival, XLSIOR Mykonos, and is priced from $1,929.
