The annual AMMY Awards recognize achievements of both individuals and organizations and their outstanding services in the areas of visitor services and individual excellence. Named for Alberta’s official gemstone, Ammolite – one of the rarest and most unique gemstones on earth – recipients of the AMMY Awards are as special as the stone itself. Be recognized by visitors, staff, and your community for your passion for your province and for providing exceptional service.

Not Sure If You Should Apply?

The AMMY Awards are open to ALL Alberta Visitor Information Providers whether you operate a mobile VIC or, are out of a museum, a stand-alone centre, seasonal or accredited or non-accredited. The AMMY Awards are an opportunity for individuals and VICs to be recognized and help to promote excellence within the AVIP network.

AMMY Award application forms are available on the AVIP SharePoint site, Travel Alberta industry website, and the Alberta Culture and Tourism website. The winners will be announced at the AMMY Awards Gala held in conjunction with the 2017 AVIP Conference on September 26, 2017 in Brooks, AB.
