Ras Al Khaimah has revealed an exciting new adventure addition, a skating rink at the Jebel Jais Viewing Deck Park.
It is time to wrap up in your winter woollies because the overhanging skating rink is nestled 1,300 metres above sea level.
Guests can truly experience the magic of winter and make sure you feel snuggly, because that high up in the mountains, it is ten degrees colder than anywhere else in the country.
The synthetic rink gives visitors an incredibly realistic ice-skating experience and is perfect for skating the day away while listening to music and taking in the stunning views, ideal for snapping Instagram shots against the beautiful backdrop.
The skating rink will be open Wednesday-Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 until March.
Perched high, close to the summit of Jebel Jais, the Viewing Deck Park has seven viewing decks.
Visitors can take in stunning 360-degree vistas of the spectacular Hajar Mountains, formed over 70 million years ago and standing nearly 2,000 metres above sea level.
