MONTREAL — Travel agents can shop and book thousands of attractions around the world with greater ease, thanks to a new module launched by Softvoyage.
Titled ‘Attractions’, the module already includes over 25,000 attractions, including helicopter rides over the Grand Canyon, guided tours of Cayman Island’s Crystal Caves, a Segway tour in Bordeaux, a fishing charter in Panama and cooking classes in Rome.
“Ever since its inception, one of the main goals for all of us at Softvoyage has been to make the lives of travel agents a little easier by creating technology that simplifies the shopping and booking processes, while making sure travel professionals earn commissions along the way. Adding ‘Attractions’ at this stage is a natural progression,” said Steve Ringuet, CEO of Softvoyage.
According to Ringuet, the company continues to work on developing interfaces with new suppliers in order to provide agents with the largest selection of attractions to offer their clients, while at the same time earn commissions.
‘Attractions’ is now available in Sirev.com.
Heading into high season for winter getaways, and with spring and summer vacations on the horizon, Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions are well-timed for the travel industry.
