Support for tourism entrepreneurs

Alberta tourism entrepreneurs looking to grow their business, or start a new one, have two upcoming opportunities to take part in.

ATB BoostR Tourism Stage live pitch event returning to Banff

The ATB BoostR Tourism Stage live pitch event is returning to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel on October 20, 2018 – a day before Travel Alberta’s annual Industry Conference at the same location.

This exciting event, presented by ATB Financial in partnership with Alberta Culture & Tourism, will feature five tourism-focused businesses and entrepreneurs, who will pitch their business idea to a live audience and a panel of expert judges.

ATB BoostR is a virtual, rewards-based crowdfunding platform where aspiring Alberta entrepreneurs can pitch ideas, gain valuable feedback and raise money in exchange for a reward, like a product, service or unique experience. ATB advisors work with each entrepreneur to develop their campaign and provide professional coaching.

Deadline to join the program as a tourism entrepreneur is September 7, 2017.

Have a great business idea related to the tourism industry? Sign up with ATB BoostR and launch your crowdfunding campaign. You’ll get great exposure, the opportunity to validate your business idea, and you may just end up on stage on October 20.

If you or someone you know is interested in launching a crowdfunding campaign – and potentially get on that stage – visit www.atbboostr.ca/start.
