TORONTO — The Trafalgar Canada team got the Christmas spirit earlier this week, wrapping presents for deserving families for Holiday Helpers, a non-profit registered charity providing Christmas packages to low-income families within the Greater Toronto Area.
As part of its #JoinTrafalgar global initiative with the TreadRight Foundation, Trafalgar is committed to providing real support to the local communities they visit including charitable giving by working alongside not-for-profit organizations.
Now in its 20th year of operation, Holiday Helpers is hoping to make 2016 its most successful year yet and provide over 500 families with the ultimate Christmas experience. The Trafalgar team wrapped toys, warm winter clothing and household items for three families. Each family also receives a Christmas tree with all the trimmings, including lights, decorations and a tree topper; a gift certificate to a local grocery store for a warm meal; and personalized gifts from the families’ wish lists.
“At Trafalgar, we care and invest in the communities we visit through real support at a grassroots level; from supporting local businesses to working alongside not-for-profit organizations,” says Wolf Paunic, President, Trafalgar Canada. “From building schools, to our partnership with TreadRight, and experiencing the difference you make in the places you visit with us.”
Less than two weeks after Mexico Tourism Board’s Montreal office shut its doors, comes more confirmation that just about all of the MTB’s international offices will close.
