TORONTO — The Caribbean edition of Travel Professional hits shelves today, polybagged with Travelweek’s Sept. 15 issue.

Featuring a comprehensive overview of what’s new in the region, including hotels, tours and packages, the issue also includes feature articles about the history of Sandals and the transformation of Cuba. Also a must-read is an in-depth interview with AMResorts’ Jan LaPointe and a laidback itinerary in Saint Lucia in ’48 Hours’.

Coinciding with the issue is a new travel agent contest by AMResorts that awards one lucky agent a stay at the new Breathless Montego Bay. Set to open on Dec. 15, the resort has been designed with ‘sophisticated singles’, couples and friends in mind. It’s located just minutes from downtown Montego Bay and will offer guests a fun and sociable atmosphere, weekly parties, monthly themed events and around-the-clock entertainment.

AMResorts is giving away a four-night stay for two at Breathless Montego Bay. The winner will enjoy limitless access to seven specialty-themed restaurants, five bars and lounges serving top-shelf spirits and handcrafted cocktails, 24-hour room and concierge service and live nightly entertainment. To enter go to travelweek.ca/contests.
