TORONTO — Today marks the first day on the job for Ulla Hefel Bohler, the new CEO of Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold.
Bohler takes over the reins from departing CEO John Boulding, who will be retiring from his leadership position later this year. He will remain with Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold to assist Bohler during this transition.
On the value Boulding has brought to the company, Brett Tollman, The Travel Corporation’s Global CEO said, “John’s hard work, commitment and dedication are worthy of admiration and he will be greatly missed by us all. We sincerely thank John for his outstanding contribution and wish him and his family very well for the future.”
Tollman also noted that he has worked closely with Bohler for the past decade, saying “she has been brilliant in enhancing and improving the guests’ experience and service in her prior role.” He credits Bohler for significantly increasing the company’s guided holiday and escorted touring delivery and guest ratings.
There’s a January thaw on the way for much of Canada but forecasters say 2018’s colder-than-normal winter temperatures will be back by the middle of February and continue into early March.
