Singapore Tourism Board appoints Four Travel to UK representation role

Four Travel has been appointed by Singapore Tourism Board as its new PR consultancy in the UK with immediate effect.

Following a competitive tender, the agency will work closely with Singapore’s London team to develop key messages for its recently-launched ‘Singapore: Passion Made Possible’ brand strategy in the UK market.

Jason Chan, area director for northern and western Europe at the Singapore Tourism Board, commented: “We appointed Four Travel based on their creativity and digital insights presented.

“I strongly believe STB London has appointed a likeminded agency that shares our passion for telling Singapore stories to UK travellers.”

In 2017, STB launched their ‘Singapore: Passion Made Possible’ brand strategy.

“Our brand articulates the determination of Singapore and its citizens’ never-settling spirit of determination and enterprise to constantly pursue possibilities and reinvention,” said Chan.

“Four Travel completely understood and embraced this strategy and delivered essential insights to bring truly exciting campaigns to life.”

Four Travel is the travel specialist division of integrated agency Four Communications.

“Singapore is an incredible destination with a big story to tell,” said Debbie Hindle, managing director at Four Travel.

“Our role will include moving from demographic to attitudinal targeting in line with STB’s transformational brand strategy.

“The campaigns we will develop will include digital audience mapping, brand activations, consumer trade, digital PR and social media.”

Singapore welcomed 518,907 UK visitors last year.

Next year will be an important year for Singapore as the destination commemorates the 200th anniversary of the arrival of Stamford Raffles, considered the founder of modern Singapore.

Four Travel previously worked for Singapore Tourism Board between 2013 and 2015.
